The Type 94 light armored vehicle, which was developed for the purpose of transporting goods on the front line and supporting infantry, was extremely compact for two people, but was heavily used as an armored force until the end of the war.
In the latter half of production, the rear guide wheel was changed to a larger one and grounded to improve stability during running and shooting.
